WATHNAKPHEAP(WP), Cambodian NGO supporting
disadvantaged children and their families through its Community-Based
Child Development Program in Pursat since 1993, Svay Rieng since late
2004, and in Siem Reap since late 2005. WP has been working on its program of Community-based Rehabilitation and Development of Children and Youth who have been and at risk of trafficking and labor exploitation in the remote communities of the District of Svay Chrum, Chantrea and Kompong Ror of Svay Rieng Province. WP is seeking a candidate to fulfil the position of Project Manager(PrM) to be base in Svay Rieng Province. |

Position: Project Manager Location: Svay Rieng Deadline: 05 December 2005 Responsibilities:
In charging of the overall management of the project
and the organisation. The PrM is working with the other Project Assistants
and reporting directly to the Deputy Director of WATHNAKPHEAP Head Office in
Phnom Penh. Candidates will ideally fulfill the following criteria:
» Cambodia citizen, Minimum age 35.
» Bachalor degree in the field of management and previous experience with NGOs at least 2 years on relevant field (Human resource/ Administrative/ Financial/ Project management) and community development. » Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (report writing, networking with NGOs, government agencies in the working area). » Good knowledge in spoken and written Khmer, English and computer literate (MS Word, Excel). » Strong commitment to work in the communities. » Courage to truly advocate for vulnerable children and their families * Women are encouraged to apply. |
